የለበሱት ያልቃል የሰጡት ያጸድቃል

Meaning

This proverb highlights the temporary nature of material possessions and the lasting benefit of generosity. Clothes we wear, cars we drive, and food we eat all perish and disappear. However, the help, charity, love, and good deeds we offer to others have a spiritual reward that goes beyond their material existence. Giving earns a good reputation among people and brings spiritual righteousness and blessings from God. ይህ ምሳሌ የቁሳዊ ነገር ጊዜያዊነትን እና የመስጠት ዘላቂ ጥቅም ላይ ያተኩራል። የለበስነው ልብስ፣ የነዳነው መኪና፣ የበላነው ምግብ ሁሉም ያልፋል፣ ይጠፋል። ነገር ግን ለሌሎች የምንሰጠው እርዳታ፣ ምጽዋት፣ ፍቅር እና በጎ ተግባር ከመጥፋት በላይ የሆነ መንፈሳዊ ምንዳ አለው። በሰው ዘንድ ስምን ያተርፋል፣ በእግዚአብሔር ዘንድ ደግሞ ጽድቅን ያሰጣል። ስለዚህ ሰዎች ለቁሳዊ ነገሮች ከመጨነቅ ይልቅ በመስጠት ላይ እንዲያተኩሩ ያበረታታል።
