ደባ ራሱን ስለት ድጉሱን

Meaning

This proverb signifies that a person who plots evil or engages in treachery against others will ultimately be harmed by their own malicious deeds. Their own deceitful actions will backfire and ruin their own good fortune or plans. The 'feast' or 'offering' symbolizes their prosperity or what they stand to gain, which their own 'blade' (treachery) destroys.

ይህ ምሳሌ አንድ ሰው በሌሎች ላይ ክፉ ሴራ ወይም ተንኮል ሲያሴር የራሱ ተንኮል በመጨረሻ እሱን ራሱን እንደሚጎዳ ያመለክታል። የሰውዬው መጥፎ ተግባር ለእራሱ ጉዳትና ጥፋት እንደሚሆን ይገልጻል። 'ድግስ' የሚለው ቃል ሊያገኘው የነበረውን መልካም ነገር ወይም የራሱን ዕድል ያመለክታል።
