አንድ ሰው የሚወዳቸውንና የወደፊት ሕይወቱን የሚያይባቸውን ነገሮች (ልጆቹን) በአንድ በደካማ ወይም አደራውን ባልጠበቀ አካል ላይ ሲያስቀምጥ የሚነገር አባባል ነው። በተስፋ መቁረጥ ስሜት ወይም አማራጭ በማጣት የሚደረግ የእምነት መጣል ነው።
