ይህ ምሳሌ ልጅ ለአባቱ (ወይም በአጠቃላይ ለሽማግሌ) ሊኖረው የሚገባውን አክብሮትና ዝምታ ያሳያል። ልጅ ከአባቱ በፊት ሃሳብ መስጠት ወይም መጨቃጨቅ እንደ ትዕቢትና አለአግባብነት ይቆጠራል፣ ይህም አሉታዊ ውጤት (በምሳሌው ለምጽ) ያስከትላል። ወላጆችን ወይም ሽማግሌዎችን ማክበር፣ ማዳመጥ እና ከነሱ በፊት አለመናገር ባህላዊ ሥርዓትን ያንፀባርቃል።
