ይህ ብሂል አንድ ሰው የተጀመረውን ስራ ለማጠናቀቅ የሚያስፈልገው ችሎታ ወይም ሀብት ሲያልቅበት፣ ወደሌላ፣ ብዙም የማያስፈልግ ወይም ከዋናው አላማ የወጣ መንገድ መቀየሩን ያመለክታል። በጥራት ከመቀነስ ጋር ተመሳሳይ ነው።
