ይህ ምሳሌ ለአንድ ሰው ሞቶ ከሄደ በኋላ ብቻ አክብሮት፣ ፍቅር ወይም አድናቆት የሚያሳይን ሰው ያመለክታል። በህይወት እያለ አንድን ሰው ዋጋ አለመስጠትን ወይም ከሞት በኋላ የሚሰጠውን ምስጋና ግብዝነትን ያጎላል።
