ይህ ብሂል አንድ ሰው ምንም እንኳን ለአንድ ነገር ቁርጥ ውሳኔ ቢያደርግም፣ በውስጡ የተወሰነ ተስፋ ወይም ምኞት ሲያድርበት፣ ውሳኔውን ሙሉ በሙሉ ላይተገብር ወይም ወደ ቀድሞ ሁኔታው ሊመለስ እንደሚችል ያሳያል። በተለይ ከፍላጎትና ከሰው ተፈጥሮ ጋር የተያያዘ ነው።
