ፈሪ ፈራና እጉድባ ቢተኛ ጆሮውን በላው ያይጥ ቀበኛ

Meaning

This proverb illustrates that excessive fear and attempts to avoid problems can sometimes lead to unforeseen and even worse consequences. The coward's act of hiding from a perceived larger threat inadvertently exposed him to a smaller, yet harmful, danger. It suggests that facing problems directly is sometimes better than trying to evade them.
