ይህ ምሳሌ ሰዎች መጥፎ ልማዶቻቸውን ወይም ስህተቶቻቸውን በሌላ፣ ተቀባይነት ባለው ስም ወይም ሰበብ ለመሸፈን ሲሞክሩ ያመለክታል። ሌባ ስርቆቱን እንደ ንግድ አድርጎ ሊያቀርበው እንደሚሞክር ሁሉ፣ ሰዎችም መጥፎ ድርጊቶቻቸውን ለማስረዳት የሚጠቀሙበትን ማታለል ያሳያል።
