ይህ ብሂል መጥፎ ሁኔታን ለማምለጥ ወይም ችግር ከማባባሱ በፊት ወሳኝ እርምጃ እንዲወሰድ ይመክራል። 'ወንዙን መሻገር' ችግር ያለበትን ቦታ ወይም ሁኔታ መተው ማለት ነው። 'ጉድ እንዳያበዙ' ማለት ዘግይቶ ከተለቀቀ ነገሮች ይበልጥ እንደሚከብዱ ያሳያል።
