Meaning

'Idir' is a traditional Ethiopian social institution for mutual aid and support, primarily for funeral expenses and other community needs. እድር በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ የጋራ መረዳጃ ተቋም ሲሆን፣ በዋናነት ለቀብር ድጋፍ ቢሆንም ለሌሎች የማህበረሰብ ፍላጎቶችም ያገለግላል። ይህ ብሂል እርዳታ፣ ድጋፍ ወይም የማህበረሰብ መንፈስ እስከ ሩቅ ቦታዎችና ሰዎች (በጌምድር ሩቅ ቦታን ያመለክታል) ድረስ ሊደርስ እንደሚገባ ያመለክታል። ሰፊ የማህበራዊ ኃላፊነትንና ትብብርን ያጎላል።
