ስደትና አግዳሚ ሁሉንም እኩል ያረጋል

Meaning

This proverb means that in situations of exile, severe hardship, or entering a new and challenging environment (symbolized by the 'threshold' as a place of vulnerability or transition), all people become equal. Regardless of their former wealth, status, or power, external distinctions lose their value, and everyone faces similar challenges.
