ባለቤቱን ካልናቁ አጥሩን አይነቀንቁ

Meaning

This proverb illustrates that people who infringe upon someone's property or dignity do so because they despise the owner. Shaking a fence is an attempt to invade or damage the owner's property. This happens when they perceive the owner of the property as weak, cowardly, or unprotected. In general, it states that someone who attempts to undermine another's authority or property does not respect the owner.
