አንድ ሰው ሌላውን ለመጉዳት በማሰብ ያደረገው ነገር ግን ምንም ጉዳት የማያስከትልበትን ወይም የራሱን ጥረት ከንቱ የሚያደርግበትን ሁኔታ ያመለክታል። አንዳንዴም የራስ ጥቅም ላይ የሚያስከትለውን ጉዳት ሳያውቅ ሌላውን ለመጉዳት መሞከርን ይገልጻል።
