ለዳኛ የነገሩት በርጥብ ያቃጠሉት

Meaning

This proverb describes the futility or ineffectiveness of bringing a matter to an incompetent or biased judge. 'Burning with wet wood' is an analogy for an effort that produces a lot of smoke but little actual progress; it's ineffective and frustrating. It implies that justice cannot be achieved when the arbiter is inadequate.
