ፈርተው ድንጋይ ቢወረውሩ ጅብ ወጣ ከዱሩ

Meaning

This proverb suggests that actions taken out of irrational fear, especially those that are indiscriminate or poorly thought out, can sometimes exacerbate a situation or provoke the very danger one is trying to avoid. Throwing stones without a clear target might not deter a threat, but instead draw attention to oneself or bring the feared outcome closer.
